Inconel 825 welding ;
The Inconel 825 wire is suitable for welding any conventional welding process with the same material or other metals, such as tungsten arc welding, plasma arc welding, manual subarc welding, metal arc welding, and fusion arc welding. Pulse arc welding is the preferred solution. For manual arc welding, a mixture of (Ar+He+H2+CO2) shielding gas is recommended.
The welding of the Inconel 825 must be done in an annealed manner, with a stainless steel wire brush to remove stains, dust and marks. When welding at the root of the weld, care must be taken to obtain the best weld quality at the root (argon 99.99) so that no oxide is produced at the weld after the root is welded. The color produced in the weld heat affected area shall be brushed away with a stainless steel brush before the weld area is cooled.
